How Our Network Works
Talk to a local provider
Who You Talk To
You talk to an independent tree removal provider in the network. That provider is a local business, not Thinkshide Tree Service. The provider looks at the tree, explains the work and gives you a quote.
What Happens After You Reach Out
First, you share the basics: where the tree is, how big it looks and what is wrong with it. Next, you are connected with a provider. Then the provider asks follow-up questions, and may visit the property.
To check provider availability, Request a callback.
What to Ask a Provider
Use this list:
1. Can you explain the plan step by step? 2. Will the quote be in writing, with the full scope listed? 3. Does the price include stump grinding, cleanup and hauling? 4. Are you licensed and insured? Can I see proof? 5. How will you protect the roof, fence, lawn and utility lines? 6. What happens if the weather turns?
If Your House Is Older
Add these questions:
- How will you handle brittle siding or aging gutters?
- Is there a sump line, sewer line or old patch near the roots?
- Can the tree be lowered in sections instead of dropped?
Check before cutting. A good plan names the risks first.
If a Storm Hit
Stay clear of downed lines and leaning trees. Ask the provider about storm tree clearance and what can be moved safely. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
You Are in Control
You can compare quotes. You can say no. You can ask for changes to the plan. Nothing is required of you just because you asked for an estimate.
